Written for Taxi under the following directions: Top Hollywood Music Supervisor URGENTLY needs SONGS and INSTRUMENTAL TRACKS with an AUTHENTIC NEW ORLEANS sound and flavor--from old time Dixieland-Jazz, Blues, and Zydeco to CONTEMPORARY American Funk, Soul, and R&B ala The Neville Brothers, The Meters, and Dr. John. Harry Connick, Jr. (New Orleans) style songs and solo piano tracks (NOT his crooner stuff) could work for this as well. The music is needed for a MAJOR FILM STUDIO's next big thriller--based in New Orleans, featuring big time movie stars--so your songs or tracks MUST feel and "smell" like it's being heard on the streets, bars and backrooms of the Big Easy. All submissions will be personally screened by a Hand-Picked representative who knows this heavyweight Music Supervisor's ears inside and out. Male and Female vocals are both okay. Broadcast Quality needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). You must own 100% of the Master and Composition rights. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis. NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI. THE SUPERVISOR WILL NOTIFY US OF ANY MEMBERS WHO CONTACT HIM DIRECTLY, AND YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED. If your music is selected, the SUPERVISOR will contact you directly. Submissions must be received no later than 8AM Wednesday, February 23rd.  TAXI #Y110223NO Forwarded twice!
