Coolness Rules takes a retro sound posture to kick off the coming Whiners and Losers album. The whole album is about communications between the lines: With each other, your boss, teacher, wife, husband, friend or foe.

For most of us (we think so anyway) how we deal with the day-to-day stuff in school was (is) the precursor of how you deal with life ...

About the artist

Final edit of our lead off track to Whiners and Losers. We've had some feedback and reduced some of the repetition of words. Tighter and more coolness we hope. Tell us what 'ya think.

Jamie is on the right hand side guitar and solo, Keith is on the right on rhythm. Jamie plays bass with Keith on drums. Keith sings lead with Jamie on harmony.

Lyrics

Coolness Rules
Keith McDonald
January 2011

If you don't speak up you can never be heard
Never underestimate the power of words

Power of words

And if you get sent to detention hall
Stick it to the man by writing on his wall
On his wall
Write it on his wall

I really don't believe it they don't teach this in school
Everybody's got the right to try and be cool

Be cool

Make your way down to the shopping mall
Take out your iPhone but there's no one to call

No one to call

Look at all the people with their money to burn
But what about the people with no money to earn
No money to earn

No money to earn

I really don't believe it they don't teach this in school
But everybody's got the right to try and be cool

Be cool

Coolness on parade
Some are born and some are made
If you want to hang with the cool dudes
You have to learn the coolness rules

Hey ...
