We lost contact We lost contact Gotta organize the charts, Gotta orient the stars Gotta navigate the way back I hear laughter I relax, fallin' faster Dream sequence commence Dream sequence intense I'm about to find the answers All I remembers a face, nothing more maybe less, and the taste, you were there and it was never a waste, in a place, where it all made sense, a time and space where color and shape became events What happens next, an encounter deep inside the rhythm and lights, the fightin through the crowd around her If I ever even found her that night, try to re- member what it's like... we lost contact
Don't wake up now Don't you know it feels so good When all you feel is sound Don't wake up now Don't you know it feels so good Not to touch the ground
Countin backward to zero, ninety-nine, ninety- eight, windin' seconds off the clock while I wait conscious thought dissipate, and with it, awareness of state, only passive observation of fate remains Locked in her dance, caught in her spell, walk in her trance, I recognize it well Analyze my eyes and you can tell It was my design, every inch of this cell Lock, blocks, latches and hot wax, Plus she can teach you the straps, and she can teach you the traps, broke mirror and black cats, with satin to match, Manhattan to catch, when I lost track of time, just like the train off the tracks, that was meant to mine, now the people are dyin' while We're mixing love with hate, mixing love with hate Time is running late, we lost contact
Don't wake up now Don't you know it feels so good When all you feel is sound Don't wake up now Don't you know it feels so good Not to touch the ground
