About the artist
A French born Canadian of Pakistani descent, Kasim is a singer/songwriter who knows no boundaries in verse, chorus, and melody. From top 40 Pop, Soul, World, and even Opera, Kasim stirs interest for all musical appetites. His appropriately titled debut album “The Man You’ve Never Seen” produced by Grammy Winning record producer Chris Birkett is a musical cocktail of pop, classical, and world sensibilities.

At times a crooner, classical tenor, or 80’s pop balladeer, Kasim’s unique voice transcends genre yet is somehow at once distinctly recognizable and memorable. As a guitarist Kasim plays the exotic rhythms of the world, as a writer he encapsulates the musics of past era’s, and lyrically he expresses poetry which reflects a purity of language rarely used in songwriting anymore. And he sums it all up with his very own mantra, a phrase drawn straight from the letters of his name: This is me, AS I M.
