About the artist

Grandview Station started as a garage band by 4 high school seniors back in 1982. A lot has come and gone since then but after many years of playing with other groups after the original group dissolved, founding member Scott Arivett had an opportunity to record an album of original material after having some luck getting a publishing deal. After 30+ years of playing mostly cover tunes in bars and nightclubs Arivett took the opportunity and completed an album of 10 original songs. Since a lot of the material was reminiscent of the era of the band's inception (FM album rock, Southern Rock) it was decided that Grandview Station should be the name of the project and the album. And so it was Grandview Station...and is

Lyrics

Unheeded Warnings

I've told u time & time again
Now I'm gonna show u that I meant what I said
I just can't take this place no more
I never knew that I could be so bored
anyway
Can you hear?...

I've got my things together now
I'm getting out of here I don't care how..anymore
Destination anywhere..anywhere as long as it ain't here..I'll be for
Can you hear? Can you hear?

Unheeded warnings
Fall on deaf ears
Fools never listen
To what they hear
(2) You've never listened
To what you hear

You've got no time to make a scene
There isn't time for any in-betweens
anyway
I've got to blow this loser town
I think I'd rather die than stick around..one more day
Can you hear? Can you hear?

Chorus

Gonna leave here running. leave here running
Gonna leave this town
And they'll be one less zero hanging around
