"Black Mirror" by Wave the Flag is an ode to feeling the shear delight from being connected to everyone and everything. To having the knowledge of the word's greatest minds at your fingertips, or peep at the most beautiful people in the world, the caveat being is that they absolutely want you to. When we disconnect though, does the high stop? Does your mind plummet when the reality that is your life hits? The new medium is a heroin needle and we only feel the effects when we can't get on. Stare at that image when the lights go out, is that the face of someone you are proud, or ashamed of?

About the artist

We decided to call this acoustic madness "Wave the Flag". It spoke volumes to us about finally saying enough is enough. With life, and the current state of music especially, you need to parley with yourself and those around you. To really get down in the mud to figure out things. Find your empathy, and break from that norm. Get humble. When things are not going a way you want them, sometimes you just have to take a moment, breathe and figure out where you stand. How to move forward. What is the negative energy, where is it coming from? Surrender or fight! This band will change what you are used to hearing.
