About the artist

Romans 8 speaks of the Earth groaning in labor pains. It is waiting for the children of God to be revealed. The passage also talks about living in the Spirit, the same spirit that raised Jesus from the dead. This song expresses some of Romans 8. We are groaning ourselves for our bodies to be set free. The song begins with imagery of a cave that is actually inside an active volcano; however, the people (mankind) don't realize it. We decorate our walls to hide our stench. The song quickly turns to imagery of carry a cross and dying; so that, we can live free. The song ends with pointing to that freedom, pointing to the kingdom of God that is here but not yet.
