I wrote this song many years ago. In September this year (2016) I got Stuart Epps to re - mix it for me. I've entered the song in this years UK International Song Competition and its made it to the semifinals, winners will be announced in November.
Stuart thinks it would work well in a musical. I also believe it could be included on someones album (Adele even), or a soundtrack to a film.
The words and original music are entirely my own work and I own the copyright. I've written a lot of other good songs as well.
I have a WAV file of the song.

It's a love song, but it's also about a relationship/marriage going sour. It’s reflects on the past and what went wrong, the ups and downs, the reference to climbing mountains. A belief things can’t get worse but they do.Then finally the man leaving home, or maybe dying. The reference to Louise in the third verse refers to the couples young daughter.
The song is based on fact, it's about my family.
The vocalist is called Lisa Marie Falloon.

UPDATE 30th November. My song has made it to the finals of the UK Songwriting Competition! Winners will be announced in a few days time.
Update: My song did not win . . there were 16 finalists in my category. There were 6,500 entries in total, only about 1 or 2% get through to the finals.
Update November 2017: I've re-entered the song in this year's competition in the retro gategory and it's with the finalist judges.In could be a winner this time.
Rethinking the lyrics, it might have a broader appeal and be more relevant to the listener if the reference to Louise was removed, and one of the earlier verses simply repeated. This is what Stuart Epps suggested at the outset.
