Valerie is an entertainment executive who specializes in music publishing, entertainment and film/TV. She has established herself as one of the most successful, influential executives in the R&B/hip hop field. During her 12 years at Chrysalis Music Group she quickly moved up the ranks by signing and developing some of the most notable songwriters and artists in the urban community including Grammy Award winning songwriter Johnta Austin, (Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Usher, Trey Songz, Chris Brown, Tyrese, Aaliyah and many more), Grammy Award winning producer NoID, (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nas, Big Sean, Common and Jhene Aiko to name just a few), album of the year Grammy winners OutKast, producer Nate "Rocket" Wonder (Janelle Monae) and many others. As Senior Vice President, A&R/Urban Music Valerie was recognized for building one of the most successful independent urban publishing rosters in the industry.

Today, Valerie lends her expertise to a variety of entertainment companies including Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI), 1One Ninety5/Pantheon, songwriters, producers and various film/TV projects by providing the "entertainment connection" and expertise required to facilitate financial and business goals for clients.
