Music Licensing Firm based in Los Angeles - TV and Movies

This is a nice submission to take a stab at, certainly - who wouldn't want the chance to have their music heard by a well connected LA agency? Don't expect any useful feedback, however. Rather than a specific critique of your music, you will simply get a form letter that offers no useful feedback whatsoever.

Hi music x-ray people, I submitted for the Travel Channel listing. I received feedback the next day!! Wow, I was so impressed that things moved this quickly. I was even happier that my song was selected. I have had a few questions since being contacted by the company and the communication was always quick and professional. Thank you Music X-Ray!

My initial feedback was very unclear. I was invited to download and fill out a contract (which took about a week to fill out)..Once i sent the contract and CD of about 25 songs I received an email in response that all they really wanted was the one song I had originally placed in the Musicxray listing..That was never mentioned to me in their original (all too customised) feedback. I find this treatment to be all too common. But, I, along with many others, will continue to send in songs to these listings.

I posted the comment entitled "Disappointed". Since then I have had an email dialogue with the person I was dealing with from the company.I very much appreciated her getting back to me. If an exchange like this ultimately translates into the company giving more personal feedback to those of us who have submitted to dozens of these listings over the years, it will have been worth it.

I've had a really positive experience with this company. I first submitted one of my songs and was told that it wasn't suitable (however I was given feedback as to why it wasn't) so I thought I'd take a stab at it with another song. I'm pleased to say they signed the track and were very helpful with any queries I had during the signing process. I would definitely recommend this submission.

I also submitted for the Travel Channel listing and my song was selected in a few days. Very professional if you need/want a quick response. Will do business with this firm again.

I've been in the game for quite some time now, so, I can smell BS a mile away. However, I have to admit that for the first time in a long, that I'm thoroughly impressed with offerings of this site. Since joining, I've submitted to five offerings and out of the five, my artist has been selected 3 times. Mind you, these aren't offerings that are easily accessible, so it's with a great deal of pride that I'm able to say that not only was the song we submitted for this project accepted, the agency found another tune while browsing and asked if they could shop it as well. So, to all the nay sayers, I say "Michael" thanks for opportunity and keeps soliciting for credible vendors such as the above licensing firm. Respectfully, 6x Entertainment
