The Colleagues was founded by KP in late 2008. He had a partner but due to a few differences, they split ways. KP ran The Colleagues alone landing his first major placement in 2009 with artist Maino (Get em Tiger). Working closely on a project with NBA player Marquis Daniels, KP then met soon to be member R Chris going through beat emails. They stayed in contact until KP reached out to him and asked him to become a member of The Colleagues in 2011. Within months they worked with 2 Chainz, Plies, Gucci Mane, and more.
