Fletcher is a respected songwriter with recordings of his songs by artists such as Elvis Presley, Cliff Richard, Ray Charles, Franky Valli and many more ensuring him an important place in British pop history. Now a leading light in the British publishing industry, he is Chairman of COMMERCIAL ARTS LTD in London.Currently enjoying success with his song "Fallen Angel" in the Smash hit musical "JERSEY BOYS" He has won awards both sides of the Atlantic - An Ivor Novello Award in the UK and an ASCAP award in the USA. He is a director of the Performing Rights Society and was a founding director of British Music Rights Ltd. For twelve years he was Chairman of The British Academy of Composers and Songwriters and continues to be a highly respected voice internationally in the struggle for the maintenance of the value of copyrights. The Queen awarded him an OBE in 2005 for his service to the Music Industry.
