I've had my share of recording contracts, stage plays, girl groups and performances with well known acts and signed artists. I know the industry through trial and error. It's been a wonderful journey to say the least. After 20 years of being on the road touring and traveling, I decided 4 years ago, that I wanted to give back to the community that afforded me the opportunity to live a very exciting and stable life. I created a company that's dedicated to supporting, promoting, connecting, and developing other acts and/or artists. I ask myself these questions when scouting or developing a talent; "Does the artist or act have", a marketable image, stage presence, a signature sound, the DIY factor, an established following, growth potential and longevity, good ethics, and more than anything, GOOD MUSIC? I am very particular and only work with those who truly have potential to make it in this business. This is my passion and fortunately it isn't based on deadlines and time constraints like some of my A&R aquaintances. Artist development from labels has become almost obsolete, referred to as a "thing of the past", leaving acts with awesome potential at a disadvantage. The Industry wants artists to be seasoned and developed before investing. I can totally understand why given the evolution of the music industry over the past decade. It's just not as economical these days for labels to go that extent with every artist they sign; and this is where I come in. My goal is to help the artist by giving them insight, resources and preparing them for opportunities once they reach their full potential. Simply stated, I've made some wonderful relationships along the way and I know that eventually I'll come across the one act or artist that has the "IT" factor. Do you have the "IT" factor?
