Alex Morelli Music
Alex Morelli Music ("AMM") is a full-service artist development company maintaining the integrity of real music by using the highest quality of sound production.
Beyond the recording booth, AMM prepares clients to make the successful leap from underground to mainstream through its music publishing, artist consulting, and songwriting services. Offering state of the art, industry-standard recording services to signed and unsigned talent, AMM delivers a commercial sound at a competitive price. Its recording services extend the full spectrum from recording to engineering to mixing and mastering to publishing.
A few of AMM's notable projects include engineering for Mary Brown, Michelle Bell, and Toby Love, and collaborations in songwriting and production with Pucker Brown (Madonna, Trent Reznor, Tool), Jimmy Farkas (The Jonas Brothers and Joss Stone) and Carlos Escalona (Paulina Rubio and Chino y Nacho).
In addition to its recording services, AMM provides artist development and consulting services, supplying a one-stop shop for artists looking to make that leap from cafe feature to tour headliner. Currently, AMM works with George Nivkor, Pucker Brown and a team of top-notch producers and songwriters who are focused on developing a beautiful and talented female artist, Viva Starr. She has already toured as a headliner across Asia, Europe and Canada with a focus of transferring this success stateside. On the smaller scale, AMM also works with indie rock band, Joint!, as well as up and coming hip hop artist, Denzil Porter.
CEO and founder, Alex Morelli, has maintained a stellar track record throughout his career in the music industry, after his humble beginnings at Unique Recording Studios. Inspired by David Geffen, Richard Branson, Quincy Jones, John Lennon, Jimmy Iovine, Bob Leone, and Michael Brandvold, among others, Alex was always passionate about every aspect of the music industry, a trait reflected in the spectrum of services AMM offers its clients.
Focused on growing his business, one of his proudest moments as CEO was when he decided to go into business with G48 of 48Consulting, a move that provided AMM access to a number of the industry's top A&R executives, managers, radio programmers, brand developers, and music supervisors, enabling its clients to network and promote their music to key industry leaders.
Always driven to achieve perfection in AMM's recording environment, Alex partnered with G48 in establishing A-Line Studios, a modern, state-of-the-art recording studio in Hoboken, NJ, just 15 minutes away from NYC. As Alex boasts, "We want it to be accessible to everyone... and close to the heart of the music business, New York City."
While co-producing new material with legendary producers for both catalog and clients, AMM's staff is able to simultaneously meet and consult with up and coming artist at A-Line Studios with access to some of the best session musicians around to ensure that the quality of sound and songwriting are radio-ready by the end of the project.
Through its recording, production and artist development work, AMM aims to create a diverse roster of music and artists for placement with labels, management and publishing companies. For a full list of services or to schedule a session with AMM, visit alexmorellimusic.com.
