Since 1984, Ten Ten Music Group, Inc. has established itself as the number one independent music publisher in Nashville. Founded by Barry and Jewel Coburn, Ten Ten Management (credited with launching country superstar Alan Jackson’s career) and Ten Ten Music Group (with catalogs from over thirty-five staff writers) have both proved to be highly successful enterprises. With a catalog that boasts over 700 cuts, Ten Ten Music Group is on very solid footing but has never stopped striving to foster the creation of meaningful and commercially successful music through partnerships with talented and successful artists and songwriters.
Ten Ten Music Group has appeared on Billboard’s list of Top Song Publishers for three consecutive years from 2004 through 2006. Recent success includes multiple cuts by 2008 and 2009 top-selling artist Taylor Swift, who recorded the Robert Ellis Orrall co-write "Crazier" for the Hannah Montana - The Movie soundtrack. In addition, Ten Ten has had recent hit singles by Martina McBride and new Lyric St. sensation Love & Theft. Ten Ten continues to expand its footprint across other genres with cuts on major rock projects from groups including Shinedown, Halestorm, and Cavo , all thanks to the songwriting and production prowess of Ten Ten's Bobby Huff. Ten Ten has always worked hard to maintain a strong international presence, which is evidenced by a number of top ten hits in Australia over the last several years by artists such as Kirsty Lee Akers, Ronni Rae Rivers, and the seven-week #1 smash "Look It Up", recorded by Australian star Jasmine Rae. There has also been significant success in other international markets including Canada, Japan, the UK, Sweden, and beyond. This is all in addition to Ten Ten's continued presence in the US country market. Besides the multiple cuts by Taylor Swift and current singles, Ten Ten writers have enjoyed recent success with Heidi Newfield, Gary Allan, Bucky Covington, and many others. Continuing a tradition of developing and nurturing the careers of superstars such as Alan Jackson and Keith Urban, Ten Ten has been working to shape the paths of up-and-coming artists Rachel Bradshaw and Angaleena Presley.
Ten Ten Music Group has long found success in securing song placements in a variety of film and television projects. Covering major and independent projects, Ten Ten has recently placed the end-title song for the upcoming Ramona & Beezus film, as well as multiple songs in Patriot Picture's All's Faire in Love and the offbeat Indievest feature St. John of Las Vegas.
With a diverse and talented staff of writers that includes Grammy Winners, iconic performers, writers of some of history's most well-known songs, and talented up-and-coming writers and performers, Ten Ten has positioned itself to be a driving force in the music industry at large for many years to come.
