We are looking for folk music for a peaceful family centred scene set in a small British village. We want to put viewers at ease with homely folk tunes that feel warm and create a sense of calm. Our client is set on simple songs that feel slightly raw, not overly produced and have some instrumental sections. Any sweet lyrics about family or childhood memories are a bonus! When actor/entrepreneur Adrian Grenier built a recording studio in his Brooklyn home's basement, his intentions were simple: create a space for friends to write, perform, and record music. However, the equipped studio (appropriately dubbed the WRECKROOM) has evolved, becoming a breeding ground for fresh talent -- a music incubator.

The Wreckroom seeks to develop and promote artists who are pushing creative boundaries. Artists are vetted by Grenier and his team: Damien Paris, Mike Frankel, and Brian Koerber. Selected musicians join the team for a full day session, in which they professionally record an original song and film a live-style music video.

Looking for authentic music from as early as the 20s up until the 90s. Recordings have to be authentic and from these eras, NOT recordings made to sound that way. Wide range of styles from jazz, soul, funk, blues to hip hop, genuine vintage, no simulations please. If you are sending music please ensure you have the rights to the master and publishing - it needs to be cleared one-stop.
