The opp is for several different pieces of music as it will cover 3 major tv / film ads and several web-blog adverts and music to show off a new product. They have asked for intense and dramatic songs, positive songs, friendship songs, and holiday and travel themed songs. We are looking for folk music for a peaceful family centred scene set in a small British village. We want to put viewers at ease with homely folk tunes that feel warm and create a sense of calm. Our client is set on simple songs that feel slightly raw, not overly produced and have some instrumental sections. Any sweet lyrics about family or childhood memories are a bonus! We would like to pitch folk with a fairly modern feel, we do not want songs that sound too alternative or old fashioned.

Holiday Feels for Airline Campaign

For this airline, we are looking for a song that feels like unwinding in the sun. A lazy but cool song that can give viewers that holiday feeling. Genres that have a tropical quality such as Reggae, Latin music, or Afrobeats would complement the visuals for this advert nicely. However, our client is definitely open to other options, as long as the songs still feel summery and relaxed. Lyric-wise, we are flexible but they do need to be clean, light-hearted and any holiday talk is a bonus! We can pitch both male and female vocals for this brief.
