Party On The Moon (Radio Edit) by Donny B. Lord (DBL)
Lyrics
Party on the dance floor
Girl hook me up that attitude
I’m feeling in the mood
Shawty at the bar
One look at me and I can tell
You want some DBL
What do you want to do
(Don’t you even think about it)
Sit back relax you’re mine
What do you want to do
(Don’t you even think about it)
Tonight’ ll blow your mind
Chorus:
It’s so out the box
Don’t have time to talk
We will work it out
We will work it out
It’s so out the box
Don’t have time to talk
We can work it out
We can work it out
Day or day or
All night
Day or day or
All night
Verse 2:

Tonight it’s all a fantasy
With only you and me
What you waiting for
Just step inside my magic room
I take you to the moon
What do you want to do
(Don’t you even think about it)
Sit back relax you’re mine
What do you want to do
(Don’t you even think about it)
Tonight’ ll blow your mind
Chorus:
It’s so out the box
Don’t have time to talk
We will work it out
We will work it out
It’s so out the box
Don’t have time to talk
We can work it out
We can work it out
Day or day or
All night
Day or day or
All night

About the artist
On February 10, 2012, DBL won the award for Best Dance Artist at the All Indie Music Awards held at Key Club in Hollywood. DBL premiered his single "Beautiful" produced by Duane DaRock Ramos and performed his song "Party On The Moon".
Party On The Moon is also a finalist in the 2012 International Songwriting Competition. Finalists were chosen from over 16,000 entrants!
Donny B. Lord (D.B.L.) lives his life outside of the box, and has happily immersed himself in the worlds of film, TV, music, dance, and even stand-up comedy.
But his real passion is music and connecting with his audience, of which he’ll be doing a lot more. This year, DBL debuted his single, “Party On The Moon,” a pop/dance track that encourages independent artists everywhere to stay true to their artistic vision and be themselves.
The video, directed by Yolande Geralds, (Trey Songz, Omarion, Jagged Edge, Plies) was recently released, and features Akon’s Dolls Raquelle Lee and Pretty Rikki, and model Tiffany Belle who stars in Lil Wayne’s video, “ 6 Foot 7 Foot.”
DBL hails from the Island of St. Lucia in the British West Indies. His Caribbean mother was a professional dancer and his father – William A. Lord-Butcher – is a prominent political strategist.
Starting from the tender age of 7 years old, DBL booked Pepsi, Cheerios and Footlocker commercials, and guest starred on CBS’ DESIGNING WOMEN and HBO’s ENCYCLOPEDIA BROWN. In film, DBL played a choirboy in Paramount’s ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS and portrayed a young Hank Gathers in Tribune Entertainment’s FINAL SHOT: THE HANK GATHERS STORY. Additionally, he has performed as a singer/dancer on THE WALT DISNEY COMPANY PRESENTS THE AMERICAN TEACHER AWARDS; THE PEOPLE’S CHOICE AWARDS; and THE SOUL TRAIN MUSIC AWARDS.
In the last few years, DBL's song, “Fire,” came in second in the esteemed International Songwriting Competition, and Motorola, Verizon, MTV’s MY SUPER SWEET 16, and CBS’ CANE and THE DISTRICT have licensed his music.
When he’s not in the spotlight or in the studio writing and recording new songs, DBL supports various charities. Coming from a multi-cultural household himself, DBL understands what it is to be “different.” The premiere Southern California gay and lesbian publication, The Bottom Line Magazine, calls DBL "a straight man who is a champion for LGBT youth" (November 18, 2011, Volume 31, Issue 6).
He helps his aunt, Sandra Lord, who is a former singer and celebrity from his native island, with her non-profit organization, Changing Images in America. It produces and supports programs that promote and embrace diversity in American culture. He is also an advocate of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles, supports the Los Angeles Mission, has volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Village in San Diego, and taught dance to underprivileged children within the LA Unified School District.
DBL, formerly a protégé of the Jackson family, graduated from USC with a degree in public relations at the Annenberg School of Communications and Journalism. He currently resides in California. “Party On The Moon” is available for download on iTunes.
