Jeff Classic Popka - Host/Producer/President - Indie on Air!
I host 2 internet music shows. Indie on Air! is a weekly show that features professional interviews and great indie music. Music in Action is a bi-monthly show that features artists who are using their creative abilities to help others.
I am looking for new music to showcase on my program Indie on Air! and to add to my show catalog.
Considered for radio play with Michael Jay at The Great Unknowns Presents:
The Great Unknowns Presents is the place where great unknown artists are heard. Not only do listeners get to hear great music, but they get a chance to hear band members themselves.
Here on the Great Unknowns Presents, we only premiere the most talented indie artists the music industry has to offer. Quality is the most important part of the show and listeners have a chance to hear to sample the newest rising stars. We do not just play music. We give audiences an in-depth look at you, the artist, with a behind-the-scenes feature so listeners can get to know you. The more fans know about you are as a person, they will want to follow you throughout your career.
A new episode is aired each week on Friday, noon PST on http://greatunknownspresents.com
Established in March 2009, the host of The Great Unknowns Presents started this project as a mere college music podcast, but after going public in May, the show quickly took off. Within just 11 short months, The Great Unknowns Presents has gained over 80,000 iTunes subscribers worldwide with an average of 700 listeners per day.
Included with each broadcast, each artist that appears on this show will be interviewed for our music publication, Great Unknowns Music Exposé and will be linked to and from the show.
Fee to submit: $8.
Why is there a fee? No, it's not payola. The $8 helps pay for the media storage to keep every featured artist's music episode on the air, plus every episode and every article is marketed and published on over 100 websites and social networks across the web. Many PR establishments charge $250 to $750 for exactly the same service. So, is it worth $8?
...it's a steal. Why is my fee so low? I keep my fee low, because I am not here to make a profit off of you. I understand what it is like to struggle in this business. My reward is your success.

Justin Wayne has just reached 100 podcasted shows, and is no stranger to independent music or broadcasting. Coming from the free playlist roots of a non-profit radio station in Bozeman, Montana he moved into commercial radio out of University and is now running Recharged Radio. With a discerning ear for both on-air talent and the featured music, the goal is to show the world that there is more quality out there than on Top 40 radio, and that the real talent and passion of the music industry lies in the independent music movement happening right now.

Mr Chapman says, "Plain and simple, my show is about playing the best in Podsafe music. That is defined as any music that I have the permission from the artist and/or label to play on my show."
Have Your Song Considered For Play on The Robot 40 Podcast
The Robot 40 Podcast looks forward to receiving your submissions. By submitting you are keeping all your rights but are foregoing the right to be paid for play on this podcast and instead will receive exposure and acquire new fans.
Your Songs Considered For Play on JT's Indie Christian Music Podcast
JT's Podcast is very open to music submissions however submitting music unfortunately does not mean it will absolutely get played. For music to get played it needs to meet several guidelines.
1. the recording must be of good quality.
2. The message of the band must be either christian or positive.
3. The individual song must fit in the podcast.
4. I have to like the song (the podcast is pretty much the music I enjoy playing)
When submitting music please include the following in your Music Xray
Name of the Song
Name of the Band
Website for Band
Please make sure the song title is in the info module. Please fill out as many fields as possible in your Music Xray. If you are not submitting an already existing Music Xray and instead are uploading an MP3 file at the same time as you are submitting, you will receive an email from no-reply@musicxray.com telling you how to fill out the modules and all the info.
Also my podcast is put out as an MP3 file itself and once I post the episode it will stay up and be available 24/7 my podcast is put out under a creative commons attribution non commercial no derivatives 3.0 liscense. which means I am essentially allowing people to download, listen, and share the podcast containing the music freely, and by sending me music you understand that the music you sent, if played will be available as part of the podcast file. in exchange for that the band gets linked in the show notes for that episode.
