About the artist
LaJuan is the daughter of Rev. Jethery Bohannon. Growing up with a minister
for a father, she learned and sang the Gospel like him. LaJuan considered it
like a legacy to carry on in father’s music ministry and footsteps. She
works in many programs that help teach the understanding of Christianity.
She spent much of her youth traveling with her father and playing piano for
him, while he sang at different churches. LaJuan attended the Oklahoma City
institute of music for music theory back in the early 1990s, and
cut her first album titled "Love". In the late 90s LaJuan went to work in a
large brand new music store in Nashville called Mars Music, where she worked
in the keyboard section. During the time, she managed to build her own music
recording studio, and accumulate a large number of keyboards. Where she
could write and record her own music daily using keyboard rhythm mixes.
LaJuan has written and recorded hundreds of Christian songs. Her songs are played on the web, radio and local churches. Although she is considered a Christian artist, her music is truly cross over music. It has more of a universal sound and a universal message than you would initially think.
LaJuan likes catchy sounds, catchy tunes with great choruses. It seems that you can sing along to any of her songs. 8 of her 12 CD’s are currently being marketed. The names of these CD’s are as follows:

2. What's the name of your new single? I have many new singles: "Follow Me", "Sikimzee Highway", "Living in the Dark", "Castles in the Clouds", "Life", "Searching Needing You", are just a few of the singles I have released lately.
3. Album title? I have recorded 12 albums total over a 18 year period of time...but I have 8 albums that are marketed. They are: 1. "Love", 2. "Lead With Your Heart", 3. "Christmas With Christ", 4. "God Science, and Evolution", 5. "Songs of Praise", 6. "Zion", 7. "Signs of God", 8. "The Best of LaJuan" 9. “Music in Color”
4. Significance of the single's name? My Music is mainly a Christian Ministry. I have recorded a few pop songs, and some country songs...but I am a Christian and Christian artist do I want to be. If you sing for Christ, you're singing for all the right reasons.
5. Particular theme of the song? "Follow Me" is a song about following our savior.
6. Album out yet? If not, when? I have many albums out on the market. I have recorded hundreds of songs...and written over 1000...You will be hearing alot of new songs from me over the years...I have many of my songs uploaded to youtube, and other websites...I update my websites with new songs every week...all you have to do to get to music is put "LaJuan Music" into any web engine searcher and you will find my music many places on the web.
7. How does this single reflect the rest of the album?
Well because I have many...My albums are mainly Christian music...songs I wrote and composed to be a ministry and blessing to people...To let people know there is many people who believe in God and Christ.
8. Why was this the song you chose as the single to represent the album? Follow Me is one of my favorites...but I have many favorite songs...and other people who write into my music sites have other songs that they like best...So I really can't tell you which songs are my best...So many people tell me different songs that they like and I guess, people have differnet taste in music...I try to put as many differnet kinds of music and styles of music out there to please as many people as possible...if you listen to my music...I'm sure you'll find something you like, because there is so much work and songs to choose from.
10. What in the song is typical of your music? I wrote the song "Follow Me" with a christian message of Following Christ....I write many Christian songs.
11. What is unique? I like the beat on the song "Follow Me"...I found alot of good sounds on my keyboards.
12. Digital or physical release? Both...you can get the Digital songs on itunes or many other digital stores, or buy the CDs on Amazon.com....The Song "Follow Me" is on my "Zion Album" the theme of the Zion album is about wanting peace in the Holy Land.

Awards or Acclaims so far.. ie (big gigs,licenses, opened for such and such etc) Open for such...I did a weekend live Radio show on WSGI radio for about 2 years...I sang on TV a few times at the Wildhorse Saloon here in Nashville TN...I was interview by Katie Haas for the release of my "Lead With Your Heart" album back in the late 90's
