Liner notesWritten 6/12/14 for Taxi A&R per these requirements: 1950s sounding RHYTHM AND BLUES SONGS with MALE or FEMALE VOCALS are needed by Top-Tier Music Library with a massive list of High-End Film and TV placements. They want Mid-to-Up-Tempo Songs that fit in the stylistic ballpark of the amazing Fats Domino, Faye Adams, Little Richard, etc. Give them energetic Songs that have the flair and pizzazz of the era. You instrumentation needs to be similar to the referenced artists. Lyrics about love, dance, celebration, etc., are all great themes that could work for this pitch. Please be sure your lyrics are universal, and avoid specific names, places, dates, times, brands, etc. Do not copy or rip off the referenced artists in any way, shape, or form. Use them only as a general guide for tempo, texture, and tone. This company offers a NON-EXCLUSIVE, 50/50 deal. You must own or control 100% of your Master and Copyright to pitch for this. Broadcast quality is needed (great sounding home recordings are fine). Your recordings can be recent, and do NOT have to be done in the time period. Please submit one to three Songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a Yes/No basis - No full critiques. Submissions must be received no later than Thursday, June 12, 2014. TAXI #Y140612RB |
