Thanks to my children Micah, Zia, Izzy, Tenzin and Noah.

May the world be a better place for you because of the work I have done and supported in my lifetime.

In 2001, with baby number five, Noah still nursing, I began working on this album in hopes to rekindle a music/songwriting career that began before baby number one, Micah, 1991.

Three relationships, countless bands, countless jobs as the sole provider for my five beautiful children and a few producers later...here it is, Sweet Deal.

Nothing short of a miracle. Thank you to the divine creative power of life (God to some, Goddess to me) for keeping this music alive in my heart and thanks to those who supported me in getting it out there.

Special Thanks:
To Larry Mitchell for listening to what I wanted, delivering the goods and healing me from my producer PTSD. To Cathryn McGill for her support, inspiration, and wonderful vocal arrangements. To John Rangel for his beautiful playing, Jeff Sussman for his solid and enchanting percussion. To Busy McCarroll and Susan Clark for their beautiful vocals and heart felt support.

To my mom, Guinevere Grier, for her wonderful generous support in every way! To Richard Fammeree, my dearest friend who will always be in my heart. To Arthur Walton for his inspiration and life lessons. To Garrett Fischbach for his impeccable listening and support. To Joseph Curiale for his inspiration and support to carry on with the work I love.

Lyrics

Let The Wind Blow
© Alana Grier
"Let the wind blow, through me
Let the tide flow, to me
Turn your light on...

I trust you to find your own way
Trust that love's here to stay
You know that I'll always be right here
You know that I'll always care
about you...

“Chorus”
"Let the wind blow, through me
Let the tide flow, to me
Turn your light on, right now
Sing your own song, you know how"

I've got my eye on you
I'm hoping you'll find your way through
I know the going seems rough
Just believing in yourself is enough
to get through....

“Chorus”
"Let the wind blow, through me
Let the tide flow, to me
Turn your light on, right now
Sing your own song, you know how"

Guitar SOLO

“Bridge”
Yeah, I think we can make it
In fact I know that we can
You and me we have a bright future
Our future is written in sand...

Chorus out...
"Let the wind blow, through me
Let the tide flow, to me
Turn your light on, right now
Sing your own song, you know how"
