About Ted...

Ted Lehman was born on Long Island, a child of the 60's and 70's. His musical styles tend to run from Rock to blues to pop, country and folk. Ted has been writing and playing music for most of his life. His band "Pepperwood Greene" based out of Buffalo NY, was a vehicle for songwriters to produce their music. After leaving Buffalo Ted moved to Atlanta and, worked for a number of years writing and recording at home. Ted's music has been extremely well received by his musical peers and the public and has yielded almost 20 other independent artists to cover his songs. "After spending most of my life writing and recording music I find that I have a rather large archive of written and recorded material. I consider myself a songwriter first and performer and recording artist second." Ted is interested in other artists covering his songs. He is also interested in licensing his compositions and recordings for TV, Film, Advertising, & Video Games.

Clear Blue Tears

Verse: [Am-x2-Dm-Am] Chorus [Em-Dm-Am-(Em-Am)] Bridge [F-Am-F-G-Am] x2

Verse

The sun rises
It's not so bright
The sky's still blue
Clouds still white

I can't see the stars
When I look up at night
things went wrong
When they could have gone right

Chorus

I cry for tomorrow
I cry for yesterday
I cry clear blue tears
Every day

Verse

Been lost in a haze
For too many years
Avoiding the hurt
Running from fears

My life was on hold
While I'm getting old
Once you were gone
With a piece of my soul

Bridge

I keep tellin myself
I gotta get movin on
Gotta get back to the world of the living
What's done is done
I can't go back
I have nothing left to be giving
