About the artist

The Allie Kay Band is lead by 17 year old high school rocker Allie Kay who is often compared to Joan Jett. She composes all the lyrics and music for her songs and not only is the lead singer but an amazing guitar shredder as well (which is rare to see in a girl so young!) What is unique about Allie Kay's songs is that she is able to write in many different styles of music and with great composition. She is supported with a group of musicians who are also very accomplished with Jonas Wisner, who is also amazing on lead/ rhythm guitar, Willy Goshorn on Bass and Austin Blyth on Drums. They have performed 50 shows all over the southland and look forward to performing in this years Warped Tour in Pomona in June!

Lyrics

"We are Slaves"

We don't got no rights
We don't got no schools
We don't got no lights
Just guns and rules

We're under control
We're under the chains
Over ruled by high power
Soon it'll be our gain

We are but slaves in this rotting
Slaves in this dying world
We are but slaves in this hideous
Slaves in this beautiful world, world

They don't got no skill
They don't got no brains
They don't got no will
They'll feel our pains

They're falling back
Into our trap
It's what they say that
Makes our brutal ways

We are but slaves in this rotting
Slaves in this dying world
We are but slaves in this hideous
Slaves in this beautiful world, world

We don't got no rights
We don't got no schools
We don't got no lights
Just guns and rules

We're under control
We're under the chains
Over ruled by high power
Soon it'll be our gain

We are but slaves
Slaves in this dying world
We are but slaves
Slaves in this beautiful world, world

We are but slaves, slaves, slaves
We are but slaves, slaves, slaves
We are but slaves
