In today's music business there are a lot of bands and artists who deserve deals, but with the industry in the state it is and the uncertainty of labels giving new bands money, they now want to see some kind of exposure first and getting a song in a film or TV show is a massive step and one of the best chances of nailing the record deal, so with that in mind...

Alexander Johnston, head of CMI Music Group is an industry composer/producer and music supervisor for various Hollywood and Global Film Production companies, film producers and writers. He is regarded as one of the best new producers/composers at present and because of this, he is sought out by various companies to either compose or over see the music for the various projects.

He is looking for songs of all genres and styles for placement in film and TV, it really can be anything, he wants to hear it all, as he is a great believer in everything should have a chance and he is convinced there are real quality people out there not getting the shots they deserve

Quality of recording is not essential as we may re-record certain songs if needed but quality of writing and lyrics must be top notch.

Some rap can be included, but mostly singing. Songs must be full songs and not instrumentals, and can not have explicit lyrics in them.

Think along the lines of Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, Camila Cabello, Ariana Grande, Post Malone, Khalid, Justin Timberlake, Maroon 5, Lauv, Nicki Minaj, Shawn Mendes, Dua Lipa, Justin Bieber. We are open to a wide variety of artist styles, but they must fit in the lane of what you would hear on "Top 40 radio" and see on top Pop Spotify playlists currently.
