The music we are seeking is for a travel application commercial. Expected payout to composer would be $2,000 USD, as a one-time payment. The usage will be 1 year GCC, TV and Online Social media mainly.

Here is our brief for music:
We’re looking for a song that is upbeat and timeless. It gives a sense of freedom and travel on the “open road”. It’s the soundtrack to a boys trip where anything and anything can happen, with no limits on the adventure. The song does not need to be a current hit by any stretch, but should have a “pop feel” that will appeal to travelers of any generation.

We are looking for something from indie bands or artists.

We are looking for a tune that needs to build to finally reach that final awesome moment. I think you could go either way or something more cinematic and instrumental. More refined and artistic.

Department Store Commercial - Get Your Music in a Department Store Commercial & Get Paid

Doug Diamond / Diamondigital Media is scouting tracks for ad firm executives who are producing a TV commercial spot for a mainstream home goods retailer. With over 1,500 stores nationwide, these stores are known for their high-quality, on-trend merchandise and clean, family-friendly environment. Client seeks to create a successful re-imaging campaign for Spring/Summer 2018. Music should be happy, upbeat, energetic, free-spirited and fun.

Final spot will be aired nationally as well as on applicable online outlets via ad buys. Ad duration will be approx :15 (online) - :30 (television) seconds. The commercial will air from Spring-Fall 2018.

Open to all contemporary uplifting, feel-good genres. Dance, Rock, Pop, Folk, Americana, Singer/Songwriter, Urban Pop, R&B all Cross-Genres that meet the emotional criteria will be accepted. Both songs with vocals and instrumentals are welcome.

-Tracks must be well-produced, professional, and ready for inclusion in programming.
-Tracks must be appropriate for the supported content.
-Artists/Representation must own or control all copyrights (publishing and master recording).
-Please no uncleared samples or covers.
-Clean / Radio Edits Only. No Bad Language. Period.
-No Re-titles or Third Party library music accepted.
-This is a non-exclusive license. No rights are signed. You are still free to pitch your music elsewhere.

-Budget: Up to $17,500.00 USD for a non-exclusive, one-time license.
-Usage Duration: Minimum 6 months from first airing (TV and Online).
-Track Length: No less than 90-seconds. Must work for edits/cut downs.
-Usage: All Media
-Territory: Worldwide
-Agreement: Client details & deal memo to be provided upon final track selection in commercial.

Final usage rate will be decided by ad firm executives, dictated by duration of track usage, placement in the production and act/artist draw. Final usage rate will be approved, negotiated and mutually agreed upon by copyright owners in writing once final tracks are approved. No transfer of assets will occur.

Songs submitted will all be reviewed thoroughly by Doug Diamond / Diamondigital Media. All tracks that match the submission criteria will then be passed along to advertising firm decision makers for consideration. If selected, Doug Diamond / Diamondigital Media will then provide the contact information and steps for artist to complete the process.

Artist and/or label and publisher retain all ownership and receive compensation directly via the advertising firm and performance rights societies (P.R.O.s). Details, deal memos, terms and conditions will be provided to those who make the final cut. Doug Diamond / Diamondigital Media will never meddle in contracts or financial transactions. If selected, your professional contact information and all metadata will be passed along to the deciding parties.

*There are no additional fees once an artist is selected, only the MusicXray submission fee.

**Doug Diamond / Diamondigital Media does not take cuts from sync licensing payouts. Artists/Representatives are responsible for their own financial transactions, contracts, taxes etc.

Jeff Blue Music is very proud to announce that our two new development projects Josh Rowe (Truth Ali) and Riot Child have generated almost $100,000 in synch fees on just a few songs in the last 10 months.

We co-wrote and produced for Josh who we discovered on Music Xray in late 2016. We wanted to combine an alternative approach to rap.
