About the artist

Id like to take this opportunity to introduce you to my daughter, AJay Mac, who is a 22-year-old r&b/soul/dance/pop performer who possesses a truly world-class vocal soundnstyle.<br/><br/>Ill give you as much detail as I can on the reaction and offers shes received from various producers after being heard at her very basic myspace page, to try and help give you a clear idea of what shes got.

She was described by 2 award-winning, London-based record producers (they did 5 of the songs on the last Leona Lewis album) as having the same raw vocal potential, in her own style, as other U.K. acts such as Joss Stone and Leona.

After checking out her sound at her very basic myspace page, they got in touch with a sensational offer for her (copy included below): they wanted her to record and release a pop/dance track, perform at gigs in Europe to crowds of up to 100,000 and record a video.

Very unfortunately for AJay, right at the time it came through, she was totally involved and committed to another project and, regretfully, had to decline it.

A few days back, Hollywood film and tv producer, Mr. Wayne Thompson, who was promoter to Frank Sinatra and manager to many stars, took 4 of her songs for his film and tv projects and left fabulous comments on her particular vocal soundnstyle - copy of comments below.

Also recently, the producers of a Sky tv music show were in touch after hearing her at myspace and requested she perform 2 of the original songs at her page (tracks one and eight) live on their show which is not due to be filmed and broadcast till later on in 2011.

AJay has not signed anything with them at present and remains contract free to consider any other offers that may arise in the meantime or decline theirs if necessary.

Again at myspace, a Grammy winning writer got in touch to request she perform one of his songs which can now be heard at her myspace page.

Another offer was made by a well-known and long-time U.K. dj who offered her a 5-single release and management deal through his company, but after checking out the fine detail of his contract, her lawyer has advised her not to sign it - AJay is hoping to sign a deal that is excellent for both parties and unfortunately his fell far short of this.

Ok, thats about it for now except to say I do hope the enclosed info is of definite interest and to invite you to check out her sound here and at myspace.<br/><br/>For me, "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word" is one of her best along with Duffys "Warwick Avenue" and her acapella version of Michael Jacksons "I want you back", which was her first ever recording at age 16 - even with a few rough spots, it shows her amazing potential.<br/><br/>Thanks for your time.<br/><br/><br/>Stuart Leggat<br/><br/><br/>www.myspace.com/ajay5686&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Comments from Hollywood producer, Wayne Thompson after being sent "As Long As I Have You"<br/><br/>Stuart;<br/><br/>I'm such a fan it's hard to be objective. This is a great record. Once again, AJay knocks it out of the park. Well produced, good use of background vocals. Very well written song. Very good, simple, straight ahead lyrics. I'll definitely use and circulate this. Wayne"<br/><br/>Waynes comments on her version of my dance track, "Loving You":

"Stuart; Ajay Mac has a tremendous voice. Unique qualities. Excellent production. Think song is good but she's better than the song.

Send me the lyrics please. Always submit lyrics for consideration for film and television as directors, producers want to know the words re content. I'll use this and also share with my associates. Good work. Thanks for submitting. Wayne"

Waynes comments on her cover version of the<br/>Elton John Song, "Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word":<br/><br/>"Stuart: I heard this on her myspace page. It might be about the best version on the planet. <br/><br/>These versions can be used in film more than TV. If used they can often really promote/launch the artist. Yes, it is sometimes expensive to get the rights but it's cheaper when you get the song rights as opposed to licensing a classic complete with artist. This has real potential for me to use in my films. Thanks, Wayne."<br/><br/><br/>Comments from Grammy writer:<br/><br/>"Stuart,<br/><br/>Thanks so much for sending me this. Amandas voice is stunning. She absolutely nails the song and really sells it. Fantastic range.

John"

Hi Stu.

Good to hear from you.

AJ's a Great vocalist - I love her cover versions of the 3 new songs you have uploaded at your page..

Anyway - down to business.

We are producing the Dr. Alban International hit "It's My Life".
We have a record deal in place and the successful female vocalist will get the opportunity to perform in the Summer Festivals in Europe to over 100,000 people.

Do you recall the track? We need a female vocalist and I think AJ has the Power House vocal to deliver.

Also does AJ have the desire to perform at Large Stadium venues?

Give Cliff a bell to discuss - Great opportunity.

Have a Great day.
