Bruce Bergh’s newest 2012 release, “Chicago Night Life” is a collection of original “Rat-Pack” tunes written during 2011 as a nightlife entertainer in some of Chicago’s finest dining establishments. Bergh performs on piano with vocal stylings in the Pop, Rock and Jazz Vocal genres. As a composer, he strives for memorable melody lines accompanied by jazz harmonizations with a positive message.

Bergh studied at Sherwood Music School and the University of Chicago, and has written hundreds of songs, commercial music and jingles, as well as arranged music for a large number of clients through the years at his three recording studios. As a professor of Music Technology, Bergh taught in four universities, done clinician work for MTNA, MENC, and NAMM conventions, and founded The Bergh Institute of Music Technology (BIMT.net and DrMIDI.com).

Some of Bergh’s career highlights include playing organ for the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, performing live with Kerry Livgren of “Kansas” on synthesizer, pianist/vocalist for Willow Creek Community Chapel events, traveling North America as a product specialist and clinician for numerous musical instrument manufacturers, collaborating with Bob Moog & Ray Kurzweil regarding synthesizer technology and sales, and leading worship and performing in many top churches, theaters and convention centers across the United States.
