Lyrics
One Man, Stood
One Life, full of tears, I've cried
more, than you'll ever know.
When you're free, you cannot feel it.
I know where you've sailed from, and where you've been.
And then you came, and you tried, to regain
what we've been promised, for so long.
That the fire deep down in my heart will subside
with all the prayers, that you whisper at night.
It'll be alright. But what have you actually done?
One Man, stood alone, is all
is all it took, to bring a king down to his knees
One Man, stood alone, is all
is all it took, if hope is all he sees
One heart, full of hope, I've heard
my own, beating like a drum
when you're safe, you cannot hear it
I know where the pain is, and why you cry
And it came, gave me hope, tp believe that it can be
what we've been led to believe
that hope can come from the smallest of seeds
to cover our fears, Can you not be afraid?
Can you stand up tall?
But what can you deliver, if anything at all?
One Man, stood alone, is all
is all it took, to bring a king down to his knees
One Man, stood alone, is all
is all it took, if hope is all he sees
