About the artist

Robert's career as a musician began when he started playing professionally as a teenager while attending Richard Henry Dana Junior High and San Pedro High School, later moving into an artist collective in Portland,Oregon. In Portland he was hired as the first guitar/bass instructor for the original Apple Music (aka Apple Music Company). He also played bass guitar in the owner, Kelly Howard's, band, "The Skyline Express," and guitar in "The Shooz" (later to become "Nu Shooz") and was the original guitarist/co-writer/musical director for Portland seminal punk rock band, "The Noize." Later, relocating to the Bay Area, he continued his professional career playing guitar and singing in various touring Top 40 bands. Having worked many years in diverse musical genres, he has since enjoyed an extensive career in the music business as a professional touring guitarist, private educator, band leader, producer, studio musician, musical director, and independent digital/virtual record label manager.
