Lyrics

Evening felt as warm as summer pleasure
Nothing looked less usual than before
Ocean waves roll high but that’s not danger
John and Maya took their twins to a shore

The woman looked up at the pitch-black heaven
Not a single star that forecast fate
Suddenly alarming thought pierced her head
“Kids, let’s run” but then the roaring came

Crazy water
The wall of water
from behind with monstrous power
Broke up the hold of loving hands
In the deadly boiling howling
Sandy water turned the dawn off
Flashlights on the streets and bridges
Candle lights for two little souls
Candle lights keep all-night vigil

Why the wave burst up to reach storm clouds
Day before it fawned on as a poodle
Something angered greatly Mother Nature
Did we toss blue roses in red pool?

Someone wants one day to cut the rainbow
Chasing profit blocks their greedy brain
John and Maya’s boys they’ll never know
Who gave a signal to the deadly rain?

Crazy water
The wall of water
from behind with monstrous power
Broke up the hold of loving hands
In the deadly boiling howling
Sandy water turned the dawn off
Flashlights on the streets and bridges
Candle lights for two little souls
Candle lights keep all-night vigil
