About the artist

Recently selected as the winner of Guitar Center's National Singer Songwriter 2 Competition out of over 13,000 entrants, Jeff Campbell just finished and released a 5 song EP with 6 time Grammy Winning Producer John Shanks, with a 12/12 performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live slated as the release show.
Jeff plays hundreds of shows a year in dozens of cities and continues to build a loyal following through live performances with personality everywhere he goes. He has a reputation for surrounding himself with as many talented musicians from the Bay Area and beyond that he can fit onto a stage but can also hold a crowd's attention as a solo performer.
His onstage experiences have found him sharing the stage with John Mayer, members of Counting Crows, Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead and opening for Grammy-winning band Train.
Chuck Dauphin of Music News Nashville said Jeff's 2012 release 'Stop and Go' is "...an album that will leave you wanting more".
A Philadelphia native, Campbell moved to San Francisco in 2004 specifically for the newer Rock scene he had heard was developing. After a few years of trying to balance learning the West Coast Music Scene with his day job, the job was cast aside in favor of full time touring, writing and recording for a living. He will continue to do so throughout 2014 and beyond and will not stop until his piece of history is defined.

Lyrics

Useless using me for my eyes
I'm as blind as can be
But you know that I'll always try
To see things in the brightest of light.
Sometimes it feels like its dark all the time.

Nothing like falling over
Before your feet even hit the ground
Got one hand on your shoulder
Baby, it looks like we're both going down.

So save my neck for me just one more time.
I'm guilty as hell
It don't matter the crime.
But you got a way to make everything all right.
And I know you're gonna save me tonight.

It's when I get lost
that I don't play fair
Believe me when I say
I wish I could care

When it really matters
Cause that's when I'm gone.
So hand me another ladder
So I can climb back from the fall

So save my neck for me just one more time.
I'm guilty as hell
It don't matter the crime.
But you got a way to make everything all right.
And I know you're gonna save me tonight.
