A-B-A-C-A Entertainment Group is an independent record label (A-B-A-C-A Records Ltd), music publishing company (A-B-A-C-A Music Publishing Inc.) and record industry consulting firm that is offering professional representation for up-and-coming unsigned Bands and Singer/Songwriters, smaller indie Labels and Music Publishers with new masters and/or song material, who may be seeking licensing, distribution, publishing, record label deals and/or live performance (touring) opportunities in foreign territories.
ABACA has been attending MIDEM (world's largest record conference held in Cannes, France) since 1991 and POPKOMM (2nd largest held in Berlin Germany) since 2000. Domestically, ABACA works mainly in Advertisement/TV/Film licensing / synchronization, background leased music, inflight airline programming, video and computer gaming, digital dissemination and download and other misc. activities.
We only work with well established, international, Major and Indie record labels and music publishing companies and guarantee that your music will be reviewed by A&R VIP associates from around the world.
Because A&R generally do not accept individual artist CD/DVD's at the MIDEM and Popkomm conferences, we are required to showcase you in a format that will provide A&R with all that they need to see and hear to determine if they are interested in you, or not. We also submit to music supervisors working in TV/Film/Advertisement and other misc. projects.
Your MIDEM and Popkomm Representation offered includes:
preparing your material (your music, video, photos, news, active website links and contact information - basically, your EPK) into a interactive digital showcase&to personally hand distribute to our A&R VIP partners;
setting up appointments to meet with carefully selected companies that specifically handle your style/s of music in order to discuss and review you personally;
providing you with a written report detailing which companies received your music and any critique review comments made;
providing you with any product we have created using your material for your own cross promotional purposes;
follow-up thereafter and continued representation.
You maintain 100% of your copyright ownership.
Please Note: There is a modest fee to cover your share of product preparation expense. Please also naote, that we are selective about which artists and material we represent and don't just take on anyone.
However, as an added incentive to continue working your music over a longer period of time, ABACA offers to continue working on your behalf, through a non-exclusive represenational agreement under commission - based only on the deals that ABACA successfully concludes on your behalf. This includes submitting for TV/Film/Advertisement.
We handle ALL styles. Your music MUST be commercial airplay friendly. Material submitted must be by the Owner and/or the legal representative of said works submitted.
A-B-A-C-A Entertainment Group reserves the right to decline any material deemed unsuitable.
