Ryan Tomlinson - Founder, Executive Producer
Ryan Tomlinson has been making music professionally and performing on stage since 1987. An accomplished singer/song writer, his work has been published in TV, film and video games. As a former frontman of an LA hip-hop/funk band, Ryan ran the stage for over 7 years and independently sold over 10,000 albums. He is no stranger to the ever changing music paradigm and the constant battle for artists to get their music to the masses while making a living at it.
As a partner of Skee.TV and head of business development, Ryan brings his business acumen and street hustle to the game. In the last 4 years Tomlinson has structured many successful partnerships, expanded digital distribution and has secured 2 rounds of investment capital for Skee.TV, building out the platform and digital footprint to reach nearly half a billion views.
Build Destroy Music was formed organically due to Skee.TV and (DJ Skee’s) street credibility with some of todays most talented producers and song writers. Because of long standing professional relationships within the music industry, BDM understands the need for current, unencumbered music for licensing and sync and thus created the perfect synergy to monetize this music while still allowing artists the freedom to put out free mixtapes and videos to build a loyal fan base.
