Dexterity Sounds is a Christian music label associated with the ministry of T.D. Jakes of The Potter's House, a 30,000 member non-denominational church in Dallas, Texas.
In 1999 Jakes turned to his own Potter's House choir, releasing the critically-lauded Live From The Potter's House with T.D. Jakes&The Potter's House Mass Choir. Billboard magazine proclaimed that release one of the year's best gospel albums. In late November 2000, Jakes announced his newest venture, record label Dexterity Sounds, launched in partnership with EMI Gospel. Dexterity has produced 8 projects, and 6 of them have received Grammy nominations. In January 2007 Dexterity announced it's new distribution partnership with Rhino, an affiliate of Warner Entertainment.
Dexterity Sounds is dedicated to creating new recordings based on themes from Jakes' books and theatrical productions.
