I manage a young UK band Patchwork Grace and I am also the PR Director of UK based digital music streaming service we7.com. I have joined Music Xray to promote Patchwork Crace while also finding new artists to help them with their PR campaigns and other aspects of their career needing my assistance.
I’ve been working in PR for over 15 years and I still love it today as much as I did when I first started at the National Canine Defence League (now The Dogs Trust). At the NCDL I was in charge of campaigns and issues. After the NCDL I did a stint at Hill & Knowlton – one of the world’s biggest PR consultancies. I worked on accounts including The Kentucky Distillers’ Association and Novartis Animal Health. Next for me it was a journey into TV. I worked at Discovery Networks Europe where I was responsible for all trade and consumer PR across the suite of six channels. From there I went on to head up the PR team at Nickelodeon and oversaw the launch of the Nicktoons channel which won PR Week’s Consumer Campaign of the Year in 2003. Prior to launching ENPR with Emma I headed up the communications team at Homechoice and was responsible for all of the consumer and corporate PR. This role included devising and executing the internal and external communications strategy around Homchoice's sale to Tiscali in August 2006.
