iWith.org's mission is to promote information and communication technologies as tools for solidarity and progress in society.
Our main objectives are:
To help the Non-Profit Organisations with New Technologies in order for them to:
reduce costs
improve communication
speed up and streamline their work
To encourage communication between organisations in order to:
share resources
share ideas
sum up their effort instead of duplicating it
To bring new technologies to the general public:
simplifying the management of information on the Internet without the need of technical knowledge
promoting Open Source tools
because new technologies must adapt to the needs of the organisations and not the other way round
To promote new technologies as a useful and positive tool
so that successes can be extrapolated faster
because new technologies are only a tool and it is how we use them that makes them effective
To create a network of experts in information technology:
because education is the first step to bridge the digital gap
because knowledge has no owners
because we must share what we know
