Robert began his career in music, in his hometwon of Bridgeport, Connecticut in the early 1990's. His love of music began while listening to early soul, jazz, and blues. His early influence was his grandfather and father who played drums and an uncle who deejayed. Later, he was introduced to house music through long time friend DJ Chance. It was the early days of house music for him, inspired by the pioneers and labels such as: Strictly Rhythm, NU Groove, Nervous, and 4th Floor records. In 1994 Robert pursued his education at the Institute of Audio Research, in New York City. This is where he learned the art of recording, signal processing, and mixing. During the same time on a minimum wage budget he built a recording studio, which allowed his thoughts and ideas to come alive. After sending countless demo's to house labels and being turned away, he decided to create his own label. He sought out artists that wouldn't have had a chance with other labels, while doing so he was able to uncover music that had been untouched by other recording labels. After years of hard work, Robert was able to sign over fifty artists and groups with the same passion for house music.
