Coming into the game as an intern in 1989 Precious has worked many
facets of the Entertainment Industry with the privilege of working on
both coasts. While in college her internship was done in the business offices of Sophisticated Productions handling payroll. Curiosity lead her out of the office and into the studio; filling in with artist development department when short staffed. Dealing with artist of all genres from the start up of their career to the actual project stage became the daily responsibilities of Precious.
Upon finishing school earning he degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting she moved back into the accounting office but in her spare time started ImPrecious Entertainment Services with her best friend Impress. At that time the services offered were workshop to teach artist how to register with performing arts organizations, copywrite, bookkeeping for artist, reporting royalties and properly filing taxes for the royalty earner.
Upon the dissolution of Sophisticated Production Precious continued working with independent artist to help them learn to be more business savy and make sure that they had their business in order before seeking a label. Branching off from artist to small labels setting up their incorporations, llcs, partnershps, etc. setting up their books. The degree landed her a position in a law office as the Office Administrator but God had something else in store for her in this position and and she ended up doing paralegal work the
rest was history. While working in the law office she took advantage
of taking paralegal studies upon completion Precious opened her own
office utilizing her skills to be an asset to small businesses and
independent artist offering bookkeeping, tax, and document prep
services. In 1999 she added what is now called Social Media but at that time was just promoting on the internet utilizing the chatrooms, IUMA, MP3.com and instant messengers to get people to order tapes/cds from her clients at that time.
