Jake McKim's ascension through the ranks of the music industry has been swift and focused. In 2001, Jake interned in the A&R Dept. for Tracy and Babyface Edmonds' Edmonds Entertainment Group in Los Angeles. After graduating from the University of Houston in 2002, Jake accepted a position to work for Mathew Knowles at Music World Entertainment in Houston, whose roster throughout the years has included Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams, Solange, Mary J. Blige, Ray J, Mario, Trin-I-Tee 5:7, The O'Jays, and released major soundtrack projects like "Dreamgirls", "Cadillac Records", and "The Fighting Temptations".
During the next five years, Jake worked in many capacities including A&R, Marketing, Finance, and Video assisting in the development and release of several projects such as Kelly Rowland's "Simply Deep", Beyonce's "Dangerously In Love", Destiny's Child's "Destiny Fulfilled", and the "The Fighting Temptations" soundtrack, among many others. He was instrumental in coordinating several major shows and events including the 2003 Stellar Awards and 2004 Super Bowl-related happenings in Houston.
In 2004, Jake relocated to New York to work alongside Knowles in releasing projects like De La Soul's "The Grind Date", Ray J's "Raydiation" and Earth, Wind, & Fire's "Illumination" through a venture with Sanctuary Music Group. In 2005, Jake was named Producer Manager of Music World Entertainment overseeing and guiding the careers of a roster of highly-regarded producers and songwriters. During this time he was instrumental in placing these producers in commercial campaigns with Ford, Wal-Mart, and L'Oreal and on major album releases like Beyonce's "B'Day" and Kelly Rowland's "Ms. Kelly".
In 2007 Jake was promoted to Sr. Director, A&R and Artist Development. Jake oversaw and coordinated album projects and developed artists from their signing to their commercial release. He is credited on highly-acclaimed, award-winning projects Beyonce "I Am ... Sasha Fierce", Solange's "SoL-AngeL & The Hadley Street Dreams", and Trin-I-Tee 5:7's "T57" among others. Jake recently completed the debut album of Music World's new British female pop group From Above. He also recently developed several up-and-coming new artists including country artists Mary Sarah, Cjaye LeRose, and Breelan Angel. In addition he manages successful songwriters Shane Stevens and Tyler Montgomery and new pop artist Anastasia and continues to consult for Beyonce and Solange Knowles.

Joey “J-Harris” Fleming is a leading international entertainment consultant, who is an artist development expert, event & showcase producer, product manager, brand-marketing specialist, publicist, casting director, choreographer, vocal & stagecoach, singer/songwriter. He is a New York native, who has been making a huge impact in the music industry in front of and behind the scenes for over 10 years. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, and has earned his Masters in Music Business from New York University.
Joey is currently the VP of Artist Development/A&R for BirchStreetMusic, a leading A&R/Artist Development consulting firm. His specialty includes:
• Working hands on with clients to distinctively set them apart from their competition, through their live stage show, music, message, image, online presence, with the ultimate goal of developing the client as a total package for presentation to labels and beyond.
• Building the right exceptional team of professionals who will play an intricate role in the clients’ development. This includes connecting the client to the industry’s top producers, songwriters, choreographers, vocal coaches, dancers, musicians, videographers, photographers, stylists, publicists, and bloggers and negotiating rates that work within their budget.
• Executive producing and creatively directing EPK’S, photo shoots, video shoots, listening sessions/focus groups, and red carpet industry showcases.
Some of his current clients range from pop/country singer/model Nicole Miner (Miss New Mexico), Que from MTV’s Day 26, and singer/songwriter/actress Sophia Nicole from Broadways Lion King.
Joey is also a consultant to Jive, SONY/BMG, Universal, Music World, The Chamber of Commerce, and his father’s law firm, Joseph Fleming ESQ. P.C. As an Entertainment Consultant and former Product Manger for Jive Records, SONY/BMG, Joey had the pleasure of working with some of the industries top artists including Beyonce, Lauryn Hill, Kirk Franklin, Jill Scott & Nelly to name a few.
In addition to being President & CEO of his own consulting firm and entertainment company, Maschil Entertainment, Inc., Joey is the creator, producer and host of NYC’s top live art, music and entertainment show “LoveJonesNYC”, which was recently featured on VH1 and sponsored by VIBE Magazine. This multi-talented entrepreneur also hosts and produces the most exclusive private red carpet industry showcases and networking events throughout the nation.
