The Buzzin Box creates a ‘buzz’ with the mainstream audience about the best unsigned and independent artists, groups, bands, and DJ’s of all genres, in hopes of building each artist fan base and assisting in launching their careers to ‘stardom’. Our readers are able to view a selected genre of artists, and follow each artist along the way as they are featured on the site. We also provide our readers with some of the most up-to-date relevant music industry news in our ‘Music Industry Buzz’ category; fostering a well-balanced multi-music website for artists, industry executives, fans, and listeners alike.

The “BUZZ” represents the talk amongst listeners about the musical talents of an artist and the “BOX” represents the trapped talents of an artist unexposed and ready to be released to the mainstream. Bringing the two together creates the Buzzin Box.

The Buzzin Box concept and vision came about from two friends with a passion and love for music, who had been diligently trying to get their foot in the door of the music industry for years. Along our journey we experienced some setbacks, and quickly learned how to adapt to the ever-changing business of the music industry. From there on out, our sense of adaptation enabled us to capitalize on the opportunities presented to us. With that said, we have always focused on and fought for the unsigned and independent artist because essentially they are where the music starts and ’superstars’ are derived from. In yesteryears the voice of these artists was drowned out by the calamity of the major label hype, but now the tables have turned.

There has been a shift in the industry where independent artists are defining their own success. They have become privy to the fact that it is more lucrative and beneficial to simply remain independent and build their fan base in hopes of reaching the major labels, or signing a worldwide distribution deal with a reputable digital or terrestrial distributor. The bulk of marketing is now done online via blogs, viral videos and social networking sites, and that is where the Buzzin Box comes into play. The buzzin box is a place where we showcase the best unsigned and independent artists of all genres worldwide, who are unexposed to the mainstream audience. Furthermore, our site was set forth in hopes of reaching all of you, “the people”, to receive your thoughts and opinions on those artists presented on the site.

In creating this site we kept in mind that not all of you will agree with each other on the talent and/or genres presented, so for your liking we have segmented each genre into its own section for your review and we would love to hear from each and everyone of you. Here at The Buzzin Box we feel that it is your duty and responsibility as music lovers to be honest with what you hear, and at the same time be respectful and mindful of the artists you decide to leave comments for.
