About the artist

In a manner distinctively her own, Song Stylist, Composer and Seasoned Stage Performer, Lori Rose proves what a fine artist she is. Lori’s powerful singing style have given her the opportunity to record for various platforms throughout her career including several national jingles, a popular Billboard Top 20 Dance Single with “Devoshun” released on SMI Records, and an up-tempo urban dance cut for a compilation album called “Seven Shades” on MCA Records. Recently Onroda Records, (A label she owns with her husband), released "Seguida III", Electric Siesta, & Seguida Live CDs. Lori's roots, solid in R&B, Rock & Soul, have led her to many different stages; including live performances at some of the best known NYC club venues such as The Highline Ballroom, The Blender Theater, Town Hall, CBGB’s, Max’s Kansas City, The Limelight, The China Club, and the famous Copacabana. In the early 1990’s Lori took her band “Lori Rose and the Rocketeers” on tour to promote her international single release “Every Beat of My Heart” produced by Fred McFarlane & Allen George on MCA Records. Lori was also a member of a hot session group called “The New York Big Apple All-Stars” where she used her knack for languages to help recreate American Disco hits for the Latin market such as “Queiro Vivir” (I Will Survive) and others. Besides her native English, Lori sings in Spanish, Italian, French, and has also recorded in Swahili. Her very distinctive multi-lingual lead vocals have also been an integral part of the new sounds of NY's #1 Latin-Rock Group SEGUIDA. Currently, Lori & her husband , Producer/composer Steve Adorno, is working on her first solo album on her own Onroda Musicworks label entitled "A Different Hat" has just been released and downloads are available on Amazon, Itunes, Zune, Emusic, Napster, & Myspace Music, etc....
