Lyrics
How Do You Make A Heart Stop
It’s still lying there in pieces
Beating, broken on the floor
I don’t know why it keeps on going
If you don’t love me anymore
I feel like my world’s been speeding past me
Since you left me standing alone
I can’t quite get myself together
Cause you’re gone and I wanta give up and move on
But it won’t listen to me at all
How do you make a heart just stop
Stop loving, just stop feeling
No matter if you want it to or not
It’s like trying to stop breathing
And telling it to leave you alone
Is like telling me to let you go
So how do you make a heart, how do you make a heart
How do you make a heart Stop
You can’t make the sun stop shining
Or tell the rain to stop falling down
So I’m starting to wonder
If I’ll ever be able to let go
Cause I know that it’s all out of my control
How do you make a heart just stop
Stop loving, just stop feeling
No matter if you want it to or not
It’s like trying to stop breathing
And telling it to leave you alone
Is like telling me to let you go
So how do you make a heart, how do you make a heart
How do you make a heart
Baby could you take back this heart attack
The bad line of love we had
Cause I bleeding here
But still breathing here
Baby could you please make it stop
Now how do you make a heart just
How do you make a heart just stop
Stop loving, just stop feeling
No matter if you want it to or not
It’s like trying to stop breathing
And telling it to leave you alone
Is like telling me to let you go
So how do you make a heart, how do you make a heart
How do you make a heart
Stop
