I am a songwriter in the Maryland area who is currently writing and creating song demos to market to producers, other artists, film and TV. I sing in a Contemporary Christian Worship team at Seneca Creek Church, and I am performing in the locally. I write Pop, Adult Contemporary and Contemporary Christian, My influences come from various types of music and artists. As a kid I was a big fan of Olivia Newton John, Juice Newton, Dolly Parton, Abba, The Bee Gees, Pat Benatar, Heart, Madonna, Irene Cara, The Eagles, Bad Company, Boston, Amy Grant, Michael and Janet Jackson, to name a few. I used to sing along to their records in my bedroom and dream I would be like them one day! My family is very musical and I took classical piano when I was young. I used to write songs and poems when I was young and continued writing here and there throughout my life. I used to be in musical theatre in High school, and in college transitioned into a Biology career. I don't think I realized that you can actually have a singer/songwriting career, so I did not pursue it until a few years ago. Now I spend most of my nights (the day job still exists to supports the night job!) writing, learning the keyboard, performing and recording demos! I love it!! My music comes from the heart, sends a message, shows my quirky style and expresses life experiences in a unique way. Hope you like it! Stay tuned for updates!
