Leasa Lachance
Lauraline by Leasa Lachance
Lyrics
He is wonderful all he could be and more/ she can't stand the truth there is nothing she can do/ nothing in the world could tear them apart he had her love and she had his heart/
Their love was so true each and every day it grew/ she could hear it in his voice he was leaving with no choice/ nothing in the world could tear them apart he had her love and she had his heart
He sees her in the moonlight and she hopes it isn't true/ she rests her head upon his chest and he says/
Lauraline please don't cry/ I'll see you on the other side/ Lauraline says goodbye/ She lays her head to cry
Her heart sank and then she stopped breathing/ she couldn't stand her life without him it wasn't right/ nothing in the world could tear them apart he had her love and she had his heart
She rests her head upon his chest and he says/
Lauraline please don't cry/ I'll see you on the other side/ Lauraline says goodbye/ she lays her head to cry
Now it's her time she sees him on the other side/ She can finally breath again now that she found him
Lauraline please don't cry/ Lauraline says goodbye
She rests her head upon his chest/ Lauraline please don't cry
She rests her head upon his chest/ Lauraline says goodbye
A love so strong they kept it alive even it death/ Nothing in the world could tear them apart he had her love and she had his heart
She sees him in the moolight and she thinks it can't be true/ She rests her head upon his chest and he says
Lauraline please don't cry/ I found you on the other side/ Lauraline it's not goodbye/ Now you'll be forever mine
About the artist
My name is Leasa, I'm from a small town in Alberta Canada. Music is my passion, it's my therapy, without it I would be lost. I write my own songs. I do not have a band, I got sick of waiting for people to decide if they wanted to be in one. I don't have many options where I'm from because the town is so small, so I decided to stop waiting around and start writing on my own, which I enjoy.
Liner notes
This song basically came from what I've seen others experience. I work in a hospital and I've seen the good and the bad. This song is obviously about the bad. I found it really easy to write because I could put myself in that situation and feel it. Once I knew what I was writting about it flowed out so easily.
