This song is about taking chances and letting go of all the things that hold us back. Times are tough, but if you are willing to take a chance you really can "Fly Free". Kat Delancey was born and raised in Thompson Falls, Montana. After graduating from highschool she moved to California to pursue music and acting. Her love of writing led her to a degree in English literature. Shortly after college she left California for the Big Apple to pursue her lifelong dream of being on Broadway. That dream is a work in progress. :)

Back in Los Angeles now she works at Kirk O' the Valley teaching Elementary Music and Private Piano. As much as she loves her job, her passion is to write, record and perform her own music.

Her musical tastes are broad and she writes in a variety of genres including pop and country (you can take the girl out of the country, but not the country out of the girl!). She hopes to record all her songs very soon!

Kat still acts and has two recent movie credits under her belt.

"Drifter: Henry Lee Lucas" stars Antonio Sabato Jr. and is out on DVD. Kat plays Nurse Ratchet.

"Abandoned" stars the late Brittney Murphy and is due to be released in 2010. Kat is Brittney Murphy's nurse..Nurse Collette.
