Hazel Jade Rogers is a young Irish 15 year old singer/songwriter following her dream of becoming a major recording artist & is now receiving serious interest from music industry professionals around the world.

She plays piano, drums and guitar, and has an extremely mature voice with a mezzo soprano range plus some! She composes much of her own work, but also likes to co-write with others too.

Her influences are many, & although she has been compared to Amy Winehouse, Rhianna, Alicia Keys and Pink to name a few... her vocal style is unique and totally identifiable, setting her apart from the crowd.

Born in Dublin, December 1995, she began her performing career aged 3 at the National Performing Arts School on Barrow Street, and later attended the Independent Theatre Workshop.

She has appeared in a number of professional productions over the years, including the Christmas favorite Annie as an orphan, Oliver as part of the gang, and was even part of the cast of Carmen at the National Concert Hall in Dublin!

Aged 11 she spent a year at Redroofs Stage School in London, where noted actresses such as Kate Winslet spent their early years. Hazel Jade loved London, the buzz and the people. Whilst she was there she was taken under the wing of
the Mike Hurst who produced and coached many artists such as Cat Stevens & Marc Bolan. Mike believed Hazel Jade could become a major singing artist in her teen years.

HJ then returned with her family to Ireland to start her senior school life and is now trying to study hard for her exams in the Junior Cert Year.

Recently, she has been working with two producers in the US, Chris Jenkins of BullRing Entertainment, and Gary Earl based in Nashville, who is a grammy nominated producer of some note! She also has the privilege of having a song created especially for her to sing by Riki Hendrix, cousin of legend Jimi Hendrix, through her association with BullRing.

Right now, she's recording two new songs that she penned, and having released three songs on ITunes in Sept 2010, reaching no 2 in the National Irish Charts on Reverbnation. Watch this Space!
