Each year we send out two promotional packs to festivals - one in December and one in April. These packs go out to 200 UK music festivals by post. The packs contain a compilation CD showcasing a selection of artists for the festival to consider booking. The cost of adding your track to the CD is normally £175. If this is out of your price range, we offer this opportunity exclusively through Music Xray. You can apply for consideration to have a track on the compilation CD for just $15 (approximately £9.50). Due to the huge saving available here, only the very best submissions will be selected for inclusion on the compilation CD. Successful applicants will be contacted with details of how to send us their track.

Recently, I have been contacted by an executive director that is overseeing an awards ceremony for top business owners. I was informed that he is needing live performers for June 2012. The event will be held in Florida and business owners, as well as investors from all over the world, will be attending. This has the potential to be very big for an artist; this gig could lead to other gigs involving business owners and investors. It was mentioned that this event will be televised giving artists great exposure!

Walk the line is a two day music festival which takes place every year at various venues in Cheltenham, UK during October. The first one took place in 2009 and features some of the best new bands of the day. Walk The Line will take place on Friday 5th and Saturday 6th October 2012. We will select at least one act from Music Xray to play at the festival. This is an exciting time for all of us here at W.O.A Records as we will now be listening to submissions from artists across the world and cant wait to find the gems among the great musicians out there that we can get to this region and open up one of the largest music buying and music listening markets in the world for them. We are looking for new artists to provide full service management and booking at our various events. Your manager will focus on you, know exactly how to promote you to the world of the music business, to booking agents, media, record labels and so on, they will know exactly how to keep all these people interested in you. Your Manager gives you credibility, many music industry professionals work on the thought that if an artist is good enough to have a manager then they must have something worth looking at, many industry professionals do not look twice at an act that has no representation, as they feel that working directly with the artist them selves can be too much, they want to work with a professional who knows the industry and can make decisions on a non emotional basis and a cool head.A manager will free up your time, leaving you to concentrate on you and your act, they will deal with all the aspects of your career that you either do not have time to do, or do not have a clue how to do.
